La tierna voz del Salvador

Representative Text

1 La tierna voz del Salvador
Nos dice conmovida:
"Oíd al médico de amor,
Que da a los muertos vida."

2 Cordero manso, ¡gloria a Ti!
Por Salvador te aclamo,
Tu dulce nombre es para mí
La joya que más amo.

3 La amarga copa del dolor,
Jesús, fue tu bebida;
Y en cambio has dado al pecador
El agua de la vida.

4 Borradas ya tus culpas son,
Su voz hoy te pregona;
Acepta, pues, la salvación,
Y espera la corona.

5 Venid, mortales, y cantad
El nombre del cordero
Que vino a daros libertad
Muriendo en un madero.

6 Y cuando al cielo del Señor
Con Él nos elevemos,
Arrebatados en amor,
Su gloria cantaremos.
