Representative Text

1 Let me faithful be,
While His cross I see,
Let me serve the Lord I love;
Glad His will to do,
With a purpose true,
Till I’m called to realms above.

Refrain:
For the calling of the roll will be soon,
Praise the Lord, I’ll be there;
For the calling of the roll will be soon,
Hallelujah! I’ll be there.

2 Step by step I’ll go
In the march below.
Needful grace will He supply;
Thro’ the toil and strife
Of this earthly life,
Till I’m called to realms on high. [Refrain]

3 Tho’ the war be long,
Yet His arm is strong,
Strong to save while troubled last;
Tho’ the way be hard,
He will be my guard,
Till I’m ordered home at last. [Refrain]
