Be Strong in the Lord

Representative Text

1 Let us be strong and courageous,
Jesus His help will afford;
Casting our cares on the Svior,
Let us be strong in the Lord.

Refrain:
Jesus is loving and tender,
let us confide in His Word;
He is our Shield and Defender,
let us be strong in the Lord.

2 Bringing the lost ones to Jesus
Till they are healed and restored;
Telling the news of salvation,
Let us be strong in the Lord. [Refrain]

3 Let us go where He doth send us,
Gladly obeying His word;
He will direct and defend us,
Let us be strong in the Lord. [Refrain]

4 Yielding our lives to the Savior,
Seeking no earthly reward;
While we inherit His favor,
Let us be strong in the Lord. [Refrain]
