1 Life teems with chances for service,
Gives opportunities great,
If we but strife to perceive them,
If we search where they wait.

Refrain:
Make them, take them,
Do the best you may,
Find them, bind them,
Work and plan and pray;
Grasp them, clasp them,
Any—ev’ry way,
Choose them and use them,
But, oh, do not lose them,
By night or day.

2 Many the lives we can brighten,
If we are willing to try,
Many the hearts we can lighten,
Let not the chances go by. [Refrain]

3 Count them as gifts to our Master,
These opportunities sweet,
Soon they’ll come faster and faster,
Bringing us gladness complete. [Refrain]
