Lift Your Voices

Representative Text

1 Lift on high your happy voices,
Now your songs of gladness raise,
Till the earth and heav'n rejoices,
Sounding forth our Saviour's praise.

Refrain:
O sing his praises, He lives forever,
The King of glory, who reigns on high!
In songs ascending, His praise unending,
While hosts of heaven to earth reply.

2 Hearts of thousands now are bounding,
Filled with hope, from sin set free!
Hear the gospel trump is sounding,
'Tis the sound of jubilee. [Refrain]

3 Jesus, author of salvation,
Lo, thy name we now adore;
Praise and glory, adoration,
Thine henceforth forevermore. [Refrain]
