Little stars are shining

Author: Julia M. Leonard
Published in 12 hymnals

Representative Text

1 Little stars are shining in the evening sky;
Little hearts are praying to our God on high.
Little tongues are singing holy songs of praise,
Seeking to be strengthened in all holy ways.

2 Little hands are folded neatly on each breast,
Asking for a blessing ere they go to rest.
Little eyes are sleeping; little feet are still;
God's own angels watching those who trust His will.
