1 Look up, happy Christian, look up to the sky,
The Father who loves us is reigning on high;
Whatever may happen, whatever befall,
The light of His mercy is shining for all.
Beautiful light, heavenly light,
The true light is shining for you and for me,
Wonderful light, glorious light,
Shining for you and me.
2 When failures and sins in this light we discern,
With humble confiding to Jesus we turn;
His blood is the fountain that cleanseth from sin,
His grace is the power that shall vict’ry win. [Refrain]
3 We’ll walk in the light, blessed guide to our feet,
With God and each other, in fellowship sweet;
And while we rejoice in the bright Gospel day,
We’ll seek those who wander in darkness astray. [Refrain]
