Cobbin, Ingram, M.A., born Dec, 1777, and educated for, the Congregational Ministry at Hoxton College. Entering the ministry in 1802, he was successively pastor of congregations at Banbury, at Holloway, at Putney, and at Crediton. He was also for some time Secretary of the Home Mission Society. He died at Camberwell, March 10, 1851. His publications were numerous, including Scripture Parables in Verse, 1818; The Village Hymn Book, 1820; and a translation of Caesar Malan's Hymns, 1825. He also contributed the following hymns to the Baptist New Selection, 1828:—
