Petre, Lady Katharine, née Howard, daughter of the fourth Earl of Wicklow, was b. in 1831, and m. 1855 the Hon. Arthur C. A. Petre of Coptfold Hall, Essex. She d. at Ryde, Dec. 28, 1882. Her hymns appear in her Sacred Verses, 1864, and her Hymns and Verses, 1884. Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5 are in the Arundel Hymns, 1902 :— 1. ”Behold the Handmaid of the Lord!" O may. Annun. of B. V.
