Representative Text

1 My blest Redeemer left heaven one day,
From sin he made me free;
He took my grief and guilt away,
And so there is mercy for me.

Refrain:
O wonderful, wonderful mercy of God,
As deep as the boundless sea,
His blood was spilt to cleanse my guilt,
And there’s nothing but mercy for me.

2 My Lord was willing to suffer and die,
To bring me liberty,
My sinful soul to purify;
And so there is mercy for me. [Refrain]

3 My Lord and Saviour now liveth again
At God’s right hand is he,
And there he lives for me to plead,
And so there is mercy for me. [Refrain]
