Sunshine all along the way

Representative Text

1 My heart is glad tonight, I’m living in the light,
I have a peace this world can never know;
Since Jesus enter’d in and cleans’d me from my sin,
There’s sunshine all along the way I go.

Refrain:
There’s sunshine all along the way I go,
There’s glory in His presence here below,
With Jesus by my side, I’m safe whate’er betide,
There’s sunshine all along the way I go.

2 For years in blackest night, I wander’d from the right,
I touch’d the awful depths of sin and woe;
Yet Jesus found me there and rais’d me from despair,
There’s sunshine all along the way I go. [Refrain]

3 In paths of life untried, He’s ever near to guide,
He leads me when the road I cannot know;
And so let come what may, I’ll trust Him ev’ry day,
There’s sunshine all along the way I go. [Refrain]

4 O soul without a friend, ‘mid cares that never end,
He’s waiting now a way of peace to show;
Forsake your darken’d past, receive His light at last,
Find sunshine all along the way you go. [Refrain]
