Representative Text

1 My soul is filled with music,
So rich, so full, so free,
For Jesu touched my heart-string,
And woke a melody;
How sweetly does it echo,
And reecho in my heart,
Until its walls are fallen,
And I give the world a part.

Chorus:
The Master touched my heart-strings,
And bade my soul awake,
To sing His praises ever;
I’m singing for His sake.

2 A fountain overflowing
With joy, with mystery;
This is my heart since Jesus
Played there His symphony;
To teach me how to love Him,
And to teach me how to live,
He picked the chords so gently
To teach me how to give. [Chorus]

3 I’m singing of His mercy,
I’m singing of His love,
Of sacrifice so holy
That bro’t Him from above;
He set the music ringing,
He awoke my heart one day;
And now I’ll sing His praises
Forever and for aye. [Chorus]
