She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

في زينةٍ طاهرةٍ
نسجد عند قدميهْ
يا رب جُد تكرُّما
واحضُر بدار عزتكْ
أشرِق بمجدك البهي
مُبارِكاً بنعمتكْ

2 خُدام ربنا العلي
للبِرِّ دوماً يلبسونْ
كذاك أتقياؤهُ
بطيبِ حمدٍ يهتفونْ
يا ربنا اسمع طلبتي
واقبل صلاتي ودعاي
من أجل مَن قدستَهُ
فأنت حصني ورجاي

3 لداره الرب اصطفى
واختارها منذ القديمْ
قد اشتهاها مسكَناً
فيها معَ الشعب يقيمْ
وقال هذي راحتي
أسكن فيها كل حينْ
لأنني اشتهيتها
بيتاً لدهر الداهرينْ

4 مُبارِكاً طعامها
وفقراها يُشبعونْ
مُقدِّساً خدامَها
والأتقياءُ يهتفونْ
أُعطي مسيحي قوةً
تزينُ ملكَه الجليلْ
