Representative Text

1 No blossom needs the light,
Nor bud the springtime bright,
As I have need of Thee;
Dear Savior, come to me.

Refrain:
O come! O come!
My soul is thirsting, Lord, for Thee;
With me abide, till satisfied,
I wake to dwell with Thee.

2 The lily holds its cup
To drink the dewdrops up;
So, Lord, I lift my face
To catch the dews of grace. [Refrain]

3 For pardon for my sin,
And purity within,
I’m trusting all to Thee;
Come in Thy pow’r to me. [Refrain]

4 The birds that sing Thy praise
Along the leafy ways,
Sing not redeeming love;
That song I’ll sing above. [Refrain]
