Representative Text

1 No matter what the trials we may bear;
Let us bear a little longer,
In our trials growing stronger,
All is coming right by and by.

Refrain:
By and by, by and by,
All the failure, all the losses,
All the sorrow, all the crosses,
All is coming right by and by,
All is coming right by and by.

2 The crooked way so thorny for our feet;
Just forget the present sorrow,
Thinking of a better morrow,
All is coming right by and by. [Refrain]

3 Tho’ many things are hard to understand,
In the doing of each duty,
let us take this tho’t of beauty:
All is coming right by and by. [Refrain]

4 Oh, anchor on the promise sure and strong;
Everywhere with joy and singing,
Keep the gladsome echoes ringing:
All is coming right by and by. [Refrain]
