1 No me aparto, no, de Ti;
Y tu amor agradeciera;
Pues moriste Tú por mi,
Tuya es ya mi vida entera.
Fue Jesús quien luz me dio:
¡A Jesús no dejo yo!
2 Porque está mi bien en Él,
Porque cuanto manda, quiero;
Frente al mundo vano, infiel,
En su amor constante espero.
Su promesa me animó:
¡A Jesús no dejo yo!
3 Hasta el fin de mi vivir
Él es toda mi esperanza;
Dios me puede hacer sufrir
Cuanta pena al hombre alcanza.
Del pecado Él me guardó:
¡A Jesús no dejo yo!
4 Nada puede el mundo dar
Que contente el alma mía;
Sólo puedes Tú quitar
El amor que en él ponía.
Sí, feliz quien pronunció:
¡A Jesús no dejo yo!
