Representative Text

1 Not having seen Him, yet do we love Him,
In Him believing, who dwelleth above;
Joy is unspeakable, full of His glory;
Not having seen Hi, Him do we love.

Refrain:
We will love Jesus forever and ever!
Blindly we trust Him who dwelleth above;
Our joy is unspeakable, full of His glory;
Not having seen Him, Him do we love.

2 Prophets have searched, proclaiming salvation;
Told of God’s mercy so long unrevealed;
Told of His suffering, told of His glory,
Which from the angels long were concealed. [Refrain]

3 Ever is God abundant in mercy,
Full of compassion,— oh, let us rejoice!
Though we are tried in so many temptations,
We will give praise with spirit and voice. [Refrain]

4 Faith and its testing God holdeth precious,
More than of gold that is tried in the fire;
He will preserve us, and honor and love us,
Till He hath wrought His deepest desire. [Refrain]
