O, Let Me Hide in Thee

Representative Text

1 O blessed Rock of Ages,
O Lamb of Calvary,
The hope of every nation,
Oh, let me hide in thee!

Refrain:
O blessed Rock of Ages,
Let me hide myself in thee!
Though raging billows near me roll,
My refuge ever be;
By faith my soul to thee is anchored;
Give me grace to see,
Till life and all its cares have passed;
Oh, let me hide in thee!

2 O Rock of my salvation,
My shelter ever be
From sin with its temptations;
Oh, let me hide in thee! [Refrain]

3 Thou, everlasting refuge,
Thru life my hope shall be;
When death’s dark shadows gather,
Oh, let me hide in thee! [Refrain]
