During our last fund drive one donor said this: "I love hymns ... If you asked for money, it means you need it! Please keep the work going. And please, accept my widow's mite. God bless you."

She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

So, before you close this box and move on to use the many resources on Hymnary.org, please prayerfully consider whether you might be able to make a gift to support our work. O Gottes Lamm

Representative Text

1 O Gottes Lamm,
das an des Kreuzes Stamm
die Strafe auf sich nahm
für meine Sünden,
ich liebe Dich,
der Du Dich gabst für mich,
und werde ewiglich
Dein Lob verkünden.

2 Auf Erden hier
zu Deines Namens Zier,
weih‘ ich mein Leben Dir
zum Eigentume.
So nimm mich hin,
Leib, Seele, Herz und Sinn,
ja, alles, was ich bin,
zu Deinem Ruhme!

3 Herr Jesus, gib,
daß stets nur Deine Lieb‘
sei meines Herzens Trib
zu allem Handeln!
Verwandle Du mein Ich,
daß alle sehen Dich,
in meinem Wandeln!
