Representative Text

1 O love from whence my mercies flow,
I bring the life Thou lendest me;
I ne’er can pay the debt I owe
Of gratitude to Thee.

Refrain:
O Christ, Thy perfect love impart,
My refuge, strength and solace be;
Take full possession of my heart,
My all I yield to Thee.

2 O Light serene whose silver ray
Hath led my wand’ring feet to Thee,
Now in th’effulgence of Thy day
My soul would shine for Thee. [Refrain]

3 O Joy that quenches earthly pain!
The bliss of heav’n enraptures me;
For Thee I count all loss as gain,
That leadeth unto Thee. [Refrain]

4 O Cross, e’en now I view the head
Of Him who languished on the tree;
O nearer may I yet be led
To Him who died for me. [Refrain]
