Author: E. E. Orvis
Tune: LET US SING (Linton)
Published in 3 hymnals

Representative Text

1 O sing the praises of your Lord,
Enthroned on Zion's hill,
He is by angels now adored,
Obedient to God's will.

Chorus:
Let us sing, let us sing praises,
Let us sing, let us sing praises,
Let us sing unto the Lord.

2 In majesty and power supreme,
His sceptre now he sways;
His reign is now the grandest theme
Of angel songs of praise. [Chorus]

3 And worlds below, and worlds above,
In rapturous anthems join,
To celebrate his sovereign love,
And majesty divine. [Chorus]

4 And thus he'll reign while time shall last,
And earthly thrones endure;
Till all the sons of God at last
In heaven are made secure. [Chorus]
