Representative Text

1 O, to be more faithful, working day by day,
Watching for the King's return!
Praying for the kingdom, Living as we pray,
Watching for the King's return. (for the King's return.)

Chorus:
Watching ever, (Ever watching, watching ever,)
Watching for the King's return;
Watching ever, (Ever watching, watching ever,)
Watching for the King's return.

2 O, to be more loving, truthful, brave and pure,
Watching for the King's return!
Seeking heav'nly treasures, riches that endure,
Watching for the King's return. [Chorus]

3 O, to rescue others from the night of sin,
Watching for the King's return!
To our Savior's glory, brightest stars to win,
Watching for the King's return. [Chorus]

4 Trusting in His mercy, joyful in His grace,
Watching for the King's return!
Till we see His beauty, meeting face to face,
Watching for the King's return. [Chorus]
