Representative Text

1 O trust in the Lord, whatsoe’er the day,
Ask Him to lead wherever He may,
And doubt not a moment, His wish is right,
Trust in His word in darkness and light.

Chorus:
Trust Him in the darkness, trust Him in the light,
When the day is dreary, when the hours are bright;
Lean on Him in weakness, walk with Him in might,
Trust in Him forever
Darkness or light,
In darkness or light.

2 O trust Him to choose ev’ry step you take,
Trust Him for each decision you make,
The future all hidden in doubt may be,
Be not afraid, He careth for thee. [Chorus]

3 O Trust in His mercy, His tireless love,
Knowing He ever watches above,
Though sometimes a shadow your pathway shrouds,
In His good time He’ll banish the clouds. [Chorus]
