Praise Him

Representative Text

1 Praise Him! praise Him! Praise God in the highest,
For His mercy so tender and strong;
Sound His praises who reigneth in glory,
Give thanks to Jehovah in rapturous song.

Refrain:
Praise God in the highest,
Praise God in the highest,
O tell of His goodness,
His high praises proclaim;
Praise Him! praise Him! All honor and blessing,
All pow’r and dominion ascribe to His name.

2 Praise Him! praise Him! Our Savior all-glorious!
With archangels adoringly sing;
Praise Him! praise Him, who rideth victorious,
The True and the Faithful, omnipotent King. [Refrain]

3 Praise Him! praise Him! While nature is voicing
Strains of gladness His goodness proclaim;
Let all nations in songs of rejoicing
All honor and glory ascribe to His name. [Refrain]

4 Praise Him! praise Him! O tell the sweet story;
now, forever, love’s anthem prolong;
Praise Him! praise Him! With angels in glory
Sing, sin of His goodness, O swell the glad song. [Refrain]
