Representative Text

1 Rejoice, give praise, our King is here,
Go forth with a song;
In a hymn of praise His Name revere,
All pow’r, all might to Him belong,
So welcome the Lord with glad triumphant song.

Refrain:
Christ shall reign, from His great white throne on high,
Homage gain, from land and sea and starry sky,
With love divine, with a purpose fine and strong,
Till all the world shall ring with glad triumphant song.

2 Exalt His Name, the King divine,
The cross where He died,
Shall forever be a blessed sing,
That death and tears, that sin and wrong
Are banished in vict’ry and triumphant song. [Refrain]

3 O Lord divine, O Christ our King,
Who rose from the grave;
Everlasting life and joy to bring,
Where sin and strife and death now throng
Send peace, peace eternal and triumphant song. [Refrain]
