Representative Text

1 Rejoice, rejoice for tidings glad are in the very air,
A song of praise we hear, it echoes far and near,
“As God our Maker watches earth and sky with tireless care,
So He watches over you and me.”

Refrain:
We see His loving care and power,
In bird and flower, in sun and shower,
But what a dearer, deeper, tend’rer care,
Our Father gives to you and me.

2 Rejoice, rejoice in shining skies, in morn or sunset light,
A blessed word they tell, we know and love it well,
“As God our Father plans the dawn, the noon, the starry night,
He will plan the days for you and me.” [Refrain]

3 Rejoice, rejoice in sun and rain, in cloud or shining ray,
In ev’ry precious sign that tells the word divine,
“Although with great and precious gifts He blesses earth each day,
Even more He blesses you and me.” [Refrain]
