Lewis, George, D.D., of Llarmwchllyn, was born at Trelech, Caerrnarthenshire, in 1762. His parents were members of the Established Church, but he became a minister of the Independents. He was a learned man, and highly respected by all who knew him. He is the author of several works of great value, and the hymn “Khyfedd na buaswn 'nawr" was composed by him. He died in 1822. [Rev. W.
