And heav’n has much in store,
For him alone “whom Jesus loved”—
Oh, may I love Him more.

The one, the one whom Jesus loved,
Best hope of life for me,
To be the one whom Jesus loved,
Is heav’n on earth for me.

2 Fain would I lay my burdens down,
My sins at Jesus’ feet;
