Representative Text

1 Ring all the bells, the Gospel bells,
Ring all the bells for Jesus!
Tell all the world from shore to shore,
Our Jesus lives forevermore;
His love as tender, full and free,
As when He taught in Galilee,
As when He died on Calvary—
Ring all the Gospel bells.

Ring, ring the bells,
O ring the bells for Jesus,
Ring, ring the bells, the blessed Gospel bells
Ring, ring, the bells,
Ring, ring the bells,
Ring all the bells, the Gospel bells,
O ring the Gospel bells.

2 Ring all the bells, the Sabbath bells,
Ring all the bells for Jesus!
O let us keep His holy day,
His “golden rule” of love obey;
By life and word, His story tell,
How “Jesus hath done all things well,”
Till other lips the praises swell,
Ring all the Sabbath bells.

Ring, ring the bells,
O ring the bells for Jesus,
Ring, ring the bells, the blessed Sabbath bells
Ring, ring, the bells,
Ring, ring the bells,
Ring all the bells, the Sabbath bells,
O ring the Sabbath bells.

3 Ring all the bells, the merry bells,
Ring all the bells for Jesus!
The angels’ song shall never cease,
All hail, all hail, the Prince of Peace!
His kingdom in our hearts shall be,
He lives and reigns eternally;
From hill to hill, from sea to sea,
Ring all the merry bells.

Ring, ring the bells,
O ring the bells for Jesus,
Ring, ring the bells, the merry, merry bells
Ring, ring, the bells,
Ring, ring the bells,
Ring all the bells, the merry bells,
O ring the merry bells.
