Representative Text

1 Savior, who for me once died,
Let me in Thy bosom hide;
Let Thy blood that flowed so free,
Cleanse my soul, and make me free.

Refrain:
I am trusting in Thy blood,
Precious Savior, Lamb of God;
From all sin now set me free,
I am trusting only Thee.

2 I’ve no merit of my own,
Thine I plead and Thine alone;
Thou didst suffer in my place,
Now I seek Thy pard’ning grace. [Refrain]

3 Thou hast with Thy precious blood,
Paid my ransom unto God;
Thou canst help me, Thou canst bless,
Clothe me in Thy righteousness. [Refrain]

4 Savior, near Thy wounded side,
I would evermore abide;
‘Neath the shadows of Thy cross,
Earthly things seem but as dross. [Refrain]

5 Care I not for aught beside
But for Thee, the Crucified;
I would never from Thee part,
Keep me near Thy loving heart. [Refrain]
