Representative Text

1 Scatter sweet flowers, fragrant and fair,
Thus in our blessings others may share,
Flowers of kindness, blossoms of love,
Pray that they’ll carry tho’ts from above.

Refrain:
Scatter sweet flowers, words that bring light,
Deeds that give pleasure, making life bright,
Comfort and gladness, joy they will bring,
Scatter sweet flowers, flow’rs for our King.

2 Help to the weary, strength to the weak,
These are the blossoms heavy hearts seek,
Cheer for the grieving, smiles for the sad,
These, like sweet flowers, make the world glad. [Refrain]

3 Beauty of kindness, incense of love,
These are like flowers, gifts from above,
Bright’ning life’s garden, gladd’ning the eye,
Telling of beauty waiting on high. [Refrain]
