Representative Text

1 Show your love for Jesus, whensoe’er you may;
Aid a struggling brother, wipe a tear away;
Comfort those who weary of the cross they bear;
Make a sad heart cheery, someone’s burden share.

Chorus:
Show your love, show your love,
Show your love for Jesus;
And try to win His blessing
Ev’ry passing day.

2 Show your love for Jesus, whensoe’er you may—
Patient be, and gentle, all along the way;
Lighten cares that harrow; friendless hearts befriend;
To the heart of sorrow sympathy extend. [Chorus]

3 Show your love for Jesus, whensoe’er you may;
Strengthen those who weaken; brighten someone’s way;
Those who wander blindly; try to win and guide—
Lead them gently, kindly, to the Saviour’s side. [Chorus]
