Representative Text

1 Sinner, poor sinner, why wander away,
There’s a place at the cross for thee;
O heed now the Spirit, seek pardon today,
There’s a place at the cross for thee.

Refrain:
There’s a place at the cross for thee,
There’s a place at the cross for thee;
O do not delay, but come while you may,
There’s a place at the cross for thee.

2 Jesus has suffered and died for us all,
There’s a place at the cross for thee;
O hasten my brother and come at His call,
There’s a place at the cross for thee. [Refrain]

3 Bring all your burdens to lay at His feet,
There’s a place at the cross for thee;
There’s pardon for you and redemption complete,
There’s a place at the cross for thee. [Refrain]

4 Tho’ you have wandered away from His fold,
There’s a place at the cross for thee;
Come back from the mountains so barren and cold,
There’s a place at the cross for thee. [Refrain]
