Someone will climb

Representative Text

1 Some one will climb life’s rugged hills;
Some one God’s purpose will fulfil;
Some one will utter wisdom’s code;
Some one will soften sorrow’s road.

Refrain:
Why not my feet the summit reach?
Why not my tongue the gospel preach?
Why not my thot’s with wisdom shine?
Why not the Christ-like life be mine?

2 Some one will sing the heart’s glad song;
Some one will help the weak along;
Some one will light the night of gloom;
Some one will cheer the sick one’s room. [Refrain]

3 Some one will guide the little feet;
Some one the aged with kindness greet;
Some one will love’s sweet balm impart,
Blessing the lonely, dying heart. [Refrain]
