Representative Text

1 Stars of December, shining so bright,
Do you remember one holy night,
When from the portals of realms above,
Radiant immortals sang of God’s love?

Refrain:
Stars of December, well you remember
Visions of beauty, visions of splendor;
Stars of December, well you remember
Stars of December, shining so bright.

2 Stars of December, shining so clear,
Do you remember one peerless star?
Eastward ’twas leading men good and wise,
God’s message reading there in the skies. [Refrain]

3 Stars of December, shining so clear,
Do you remember that message dear?
Wonderful story, "Peace and good will,"
Tidings of glory echoing still. [Refrain]
