Invocation

1 Steep to me lofty and lowly One,
Stoop very near!
Smile on me, blessed and holy one,
Make the way clear.

2 Show me the Truth in its goldenness,
Without alloy;
Rich, rare and ripe in its oldenness
Bearing a joy.

3 Give me that Life in its purity,
Glory and peace,
Which through an endless futurity,
Is not to cease.
