Representative Text

1 Take, O take your stand for the Savior,
Firmly stand for the right;
Take, O take your stand for the Savior,
And be strong in His might.

Chorus:
Take your stand, O take your Stand,
Ever champion the Savior’s cause;
Take your stand, O take your stand,
Ever champion the Savior’s case.
Take, O take your stand for the Savior
And abide by His laws.

2 Take, O take your stand for the Savior,
Loyal, faithful and true;
Take, O take your stand for the Savior,
And He will stand for you. [Chorus]

3 Take, O take your stand for the Savior
In the face of His foes,
Take, O take your stand for the Savior
Tho’ the world your way oppose. [Chorus]

4 Take, O take your stand for the Savior
All His goodness to tell,
And in those fair mansions of glory
He will take you to dwell. [Chorus]
