Tell The Story

Representative Text

1 Tell the story of salvation,
Over mountain, plain and sea;
Bear to all the glorious tidings,
Christ has died from sin to free!

Refrain:
Tell, oh! tell the wondrous story,
Of the Savior’s matchless love,
How He died that all might enter
Into life and joy above!

2 Tell the story to the wanderers,
Try to lead them to the fold;
Tell them how the Savior loves them,
And would give them peace untold. [Refrain]

3 Tell the story, sing it, live it,
Letting Christ each moment guide,
Till no soul on earth can doubt it,
Jesus for the whole world died! [Refrain]
