Representative Text

1 The angels of God are singing in the shining courts on high,
Before His throne, before His throne,
They sing a triumphant chorus that evokes a glad reply,
Before His throne, before His throne.

Refrain:
Oh song divine, Oh song of love,
That rings to honor Christ, the blessed King above,
Each year its strains have sweeter grown,
The song that rings before His throne.

2 The children of earth are singing as the holy angels sing,
Before His throne, before His throne,
They praise the Redeemer mighty till the very echoes ring,
Before His throne, before His throne. [Refrain]

3 So join the triumphant chorus that is sounded ev’ry day,
Before His throne, before His throne,
And praise the Almighty Saviour whom all loving hearts obey,
Before His throne, before His throne. [Refrain]
