We Must Show Our Colors

Representative Text

1 The battle is on; with our colors flying,
With our colors flying,
We must rally, all;
We’ll follow our King with a faith undying,
On! On! On!
Bravely now our colors showing
For our Saviour King;
Hearts with love and courage glowing,
Joyfully we sing:
The battle is on, we must win,
We must rally for the King of kings.

Refrain:
Now in His army He needs you,
O come today, do not delay;
We strive against the pow’r of sin,
For the battle is the Lord’s;
We will march together, all;
We will rally at His call;
Forward march, forward march,
The battle is the Lord’s.

2 The battle is on; for the King of glory,
For the King of glory,
We must rally, all;
We’ll tell as we march the everlasting story,
On! On! On!
Bravely now our colors showing
For our Saviour King;
Hearts with love and courage glowing,
Joyfully we sing:
The battle is on, we must win,
We must rally for the King of kings. [Refrain]

3 The battle is on; for the Lord who bought us,
For the Lord who bought us,
We must rally, all;
He found us afar, to His ranks He brought us;
On! On! On!
Bravely now our colors showing
For our Saviour King;
Hearts with love and courage glowing,
Joyfully we sing:
The battle is on, we must win,
We must rally for the King of kings. [Refrain]
