I Am Going to Believe It

Representative Text

1 The Bible says that God loved the world,
His only Son he gave,
That whosoever believeth in him,
His wonderful love might save.

Chorus:
I am going to believe it just now!
I am going to believe it just now!
Since Jesus has said he has pardoned my sins,
I am going to believe it just now.

2 The Bible says my Savior has died
To take away my sin,
That he in agony was crucified,
My pardon and peace to win. [Chorus]

3 The Bible says I’m captive no more—
That henceforth I am free;
That all my bondage and guilt are now o’er,
And that is enough for me. [Chorus]
