1 The children are coming to Jesus today,
His kind invitation they’ve heard;
And gladly they hasten His call to obey,
Assured by His welcoming word.

Refrain:
They’re coming today, coming today,
The children are coming today;
They’re coming today, coming today,
The children are coming today.

2 The children are coming to Him who can save,
And help them the vict’ry to win,
For Jesus in mercy His life freely gave,
That they might be cleansed from all win. [Refrain]

3 The children are coming to follow the King,
To pathways of wisdom and love;
In joyful hosannas His praises shall ring;
Some day they shall see Him above. [Refrain]
