Palmer Hartsough was educated in Plymouth, Ypsilanti and Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 1893 he became associated with the Fillmore Brothers of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a teacher of vocal music. He lived in Ontario, Wisconsin.
