1 The judgment day is coming,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls,
To stand before the Master,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls.

Chorus:
Oh, be ready!
Oh, be ready!
Oh, be ready when the Master calls;
Oh, be ready!
Oh, be ready!
Oh, be ready when the Master calls!

2 Ye who reject salvation,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls,
For you was Jesus smitten,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls. [Chorus]

3 Behold, the Bridegroom cometh,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls,
Will you not haste to meet Him?
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls. [Chorus]

4 Why longer grieve the spirit,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls;
Come make your peace with Jesus,
Oh, be ready when the trumpet calls. [Chorus]
