Chosen Workers

Representative Text

1 The Lord has always chosen those
Who love him and obey,
To do his work upon the earth
With faith and joy each day.
God gives each one the right to choose
To be a worker he can use.

2 The Lord chose Enoch, and he built
A city God could bless,
Where all were of one heart and mind
And dwelt in righteousness.
And Enoch knew the way to choose
To be a worker God could use.

3 The Lord chose others through the years
For every needful task.
He still needs workers who will serve
Wherever he may ask.
Help me, dear God, that I may choose
To be a worker you can use.
