Representative Text

1 “The love of Christ constraineth us:”
O Saviour, ever mild,
Behold we wait Thy blessing now,
Lead us, O undefiled.

Chorus:
Love, love of Jesus,
All prevailing,
Never failing,
Love, love of Jesus,
Wondrous love of Jesus.

2 Through all the many ways of life
Thy people come to Thee;
Constrain’d by love, O precious love,
They seek Thee earnestly. [Chorus]

3 Unstain’d Thou wert, and yet on Thee
Was laid our mortal sin;
Thou gavest all that Thou from death
Our darken’d souls might win. [Chorus]

4 Dear Lord, as Thou hast died for us
We seek to live for Thee,
Low at Thy feet we kneeling wait
Thy holy face to see. [Chorus]
