Representative Text

1 The old world needs Jesus to heal its sin,
The old world needs Jesus today;
There’s no one like Jesus can help it to win,
Or help it on over life’s way.

Refrain:
To save it and help it,
To love it and bless it,
The old world needs Jesus to save it from sin,
The old world needs Jesus today.

2 The old world needs Jesus to give the light,
And brighten the pathway we tread;
To scatter the gloom and the darkness of night,
And give it the sunshine instead. [Refrain]

3 The old world needs Jesus to make anew
The lives that are blighted by sin;
There’s no one like Jesus to make them all true,
And help them the victory win. [Refrain]

4 The old world needs Jesus to lead the way,
To lead to His heaven above;
For no one like Jesus can help it today,
And no one like Jesus can love. [Refrain]
