Representative Text

1 The Saviour loved the children
Within the long ago;
He gave to them His blessing,
He sought each one to know.

Refrain:
O let us ever serve Him
Who is the children’s Friend,
For He will ever guide us
And keep us till the end.

2 The Saviour loves the children
As in the days of old;
His arms of love and mercy
About us He will fold! [Refrain]

3 With thoughts and words of kindness,
With shining deeds of love,
May we with gladness ever
Our love for Jesus prove! [Refrain]
