Representative Text

1 The Savior now is standing at the door,
He seeks to enter in,
And if you’ll heed His loving call today,
He’ll save you from all sin.

Refrain:
Jesus is calling, is calling, is calling,
Jesus is calling,
Open your heart’s door wide and let Him in.

2 Though long He’s stood and tarried there in vain,
In love He waits today,
O hear His precious gentle voice that calls,
And turn Him not away. [Refrain]

3 Just now admit this glorious heav’nly guest,
Why longer cling to sin?
Eternal life and joy He waits to give,
To those who let Him in. [Refrain]

4 O do not grieve Him longer by delay,
The door swing open wide,
Invite Him now to quickly enter in,
Forever to abide. [Refrain]
