Representative Text

1 There came in the throng one poor woman
Who yearned in her heart to be whole;
She touched but the garment of Jesus—
He healed her in body and soul.

Refrain:
O come as thou art unto Jesus,
Though sinful thy life be, and base;
And thine shall be His great salvation:—
Touch Him, and receive of His grace.

2 Behold, they who came to the Saviour
For healing, came never in vain;
He lifted away all their burden,
And banished from them ev’ry pain. [Refrain]

3 Today He’s the same Friend as ever
To all who are burden’d and weak;
O touch but the hem of His garment,
And have all the blessings you see. [Refrain]
